Hope House.
Hope House can provide residential care to two young persons aged between 10-17 years old on a short, medium to long-term placements.
Serenity Path Care Ltd, offers Hope House, a spacious semi-detached two-tier building children’s residential home, overlooking Clent Hills and a nearby athletic and cycling club. The home is situated in the urban setting of Halesowen Birmingham, approximately 8.3 miles from Birmingham City centre.
The Hope House commits to:
a) Working with each child, his/her placement authority, social workers, parents, (as appropriate) and all others associated with his/her care towards identifying, implementing and reviewing a plan of care which is largely unique to the child, and which adequately reflects his/her needs at any one time.
b) Ensuring that each child enjoy a safe, warm, secure, dignified, loving, and caring environment, stimulating and nurturing their development and education encourage their general well-being.
c) Always looking ahead, towards the young person’s future needs, in order to prepare them for the time when they leave the home for independent living.
d) Provide opportunity, encouragement, fun and leisure, supporting each child with a view to them fulfilling their potential.
e) Listen to the views of all accommodated in the home, so they can be taken into account.
f) Involve each child in the running of the home through regular meetings and discussions, in order that they may understand the home’s rules. Review, in the light of changing needs and circumstances and on occasion contribute to their development.
Hope House can cater for those who experience behaviour, emotional and social difficulties that may have suffered abuse, neglect, and exclusion.
